Spicer at AFL level showed some glimpses but the issues with his mentallity appeared chronic. Edwards... Yeah... Young and Perez I feel a bit bad for, Perez because he was completely derailed by two knees and Young because he genuinely has some good attributes.

With the retirees and players leaving it will be interesting to see who else gets cut. Like others I'm mentally preparing myself to see some blokes returning next year who I think have less than zero chance of being best 30 when we're going well.

I am more concerned about Bonar's name not being on that list!

We might need to open up another ~4-5 spots next year if we can attract a free agent or two. No need to gut the entire list now and have a heap of recruits on two year deals.

We won't have many requirements either given our age demographics (just greenwood unless I'm mistaken).

Far more prudent to stagger some of the changes then recruit potatoes for the sake of it.
