Important to note that the boys did at least 60 mins of match sim on Monday so it projects that tomorrow won’t be a hugely heavy session, at least in terms of intensity and physical contact. And also of note that David king and the AFL reporter (Who wrote the blues article yesterday) have both noted that we had good numbers on the track and whilst many are bemoaning our injury list and rehab group it sounds like we are actually tracking reasonably well vs the rest of the comp as both Kingy + AFL.com reporter actually watch other teams train so for me this is a relief.

Posts like these wont prevent the inevitable meltdowns

I do like the "health is wealth" line

So key points are;

  • Pitto back in full training.
  • Doc is now a midfielder barring a swag of defensive injuries.
  • Matty K still a bit off, Jack Martin being managed and Lewis Young back into training next week.
  • Sam Walsh has gone from doing laps at 2/3 pace last week to 1/2 pace this week. I blame Andrew Russell.

Mitch McGovern is one of our keys, his ability to zone off, mark, play on and kick the ball to 60 metres away so that it gets there quickly before drfences can set up is unparalleled. Unfortunately so is his ability to ping a hammy.

We seem to be in pretty good nick, fingers crossed that it stays that way.
If he stays fit he is our Jeremy Howe, who gets talked about as an All Aus most years. His attributes are outstanding we just need his body to hold together (much easier said than done evidently)

Docherty to play Mid early
Walsh pushing for Rd One but club likely to hold him back
Cowan big chance to play Rd One
Cripps flying
Kennedy still not full training
Williams in career best fitness and believe to have fixed Hamstrings issues
Likely to go with two big rucks
Cerra to go to next level as mid

All good to quote posts from other Boards as long as the user tags are removed. :thumbsu:

Heading to training tomorrow, but not expecting a high intensity session, given most would be behind closed doors

Hopefully they all wander out, in some capacity apart from Boyd
What will you be demanding? You're a Carlton supporter, you have to demand something.
