Not sure what's wrong with DGB. People saying he does not have a tank for AFL. I remember when Day did number on him in VFL (not encouraging, haha).

If I understood correctly Cameron, we could trade into draft after picking up Lombard.
Reading his consistency isnt there, one week hell shut down a key forward, the next week sam day kicks 10.

he was the one i wanted in 2020.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, 🤘. We have 6 Senior players depart the club, with Noble, Rioli and Himmelberg coming in, that leaves 3 spots? IMO that’s Lombard and I feel Clohesy and Uwland will get put onto the Senior list.

Sam Day spent 14 years on our list, I think he was given more chances than anyone considering his ability.

True bad example but I don't think.anyone on a AFL list has been given the same opportunities as Oea has compated to their results at senior level, none of the other delistees got this opportunity even Rowlands who kicked 5 goals in a game this year . At some time you have to cut the cord even though he has been a fantastic story. Use the PSS to get a Tomlinson, Culley etc, another ruckman in case of emergency or give a young academy kid a go

I think we just keep churning through potential small forwards offering them a year
See what they can do
We have Ned Moyle back up ruck with Read King and Andrew as backups.I think we're ok there

We are in the same position as the other clubs now so we can have a max list size of 44 players. We have a max 38 afl listed players or could go with a minimum 36 if we wanted.

Also I think you will find we have seven spots…

Atkins, Lukosius, Oea, Day, Casboult, MacPherson and Ellis.

Hence why the Dusty dream is alive

Based on Craig Cameron's comments I feel like we're gonna be making a second draft pick in the draft after Lombard bid by trading back in. Reckon this is a 70% chance, CC tends to keep cards close to his chest unless it's a near certainty.

was thinking about the forward pockets today and remembered Sexton will be back in contention for that role as there is no chance he is playing on the back line anymore - Ainsworth in the other pocket
Nah Ainsworth up high, he is at his best working up and down the ground. Lombard and Rogers a good chance to be our starting forward pockets.

Yep
Ben has elite endurance and repititions
He'll be half forward working back to defensive 50 and into our goal square

I feel like we need to give Benny long some more credit for his season this year. 26.17 at 17 games (1-2 as sub), and 18 assists. He was easily our most dangerous small and contributed to nearly 3 goals a game. If Mally can add more consistency and composure then we have the full house of pockets, one undersized marker (Long) and a specialised crumbed (Rosas). The best thing is that if they're on, then the pressure they bring is right in dimmas gameplan of forward half turnover. Main thing is making sure they're both consistently on
