I'd say Jackson is Miranda's replacement long term. Miranda's contract is expiring at the end of the season and I don't see us renewing it.

We'll sign another CB in the off season.
I'm not so sure about that. Jackson was a 4th choice CB at Jets when he left the AL. K1 is an excellent standard, however, the CB's aren't always the strongest. Calver and Aspropotamitis are two examples of Aussie CB's with strong Korean careers, that weren't great in the AL. Don't get me wrong, Jackson could be okay, but I think it's a wait and see prospect. I don't expect him to walk in and take the Captains spot.

I don't see us renewing Miranda's contract. He's getting on now and too error prone. At this stage the club has only signed Jackson until the end of 25/26 - if he works out hopefully that is extended sooner rather than later.

Diles locked in til the end of 25/26... So we gave him about 17 months.

Dude is effectively still a caretaker, the only difference is that now he can be sacked.

Of course, there's the chance that they've made an error on the club's website, and we've actually appointed Frank Walker until 2045/46. (That joke is deep...)

Announcement after a win the boys on FVS were spot on!

I'd be fascinated to have been a fly on the wall in the discussions of a 17-month deal.

What are we hoping to achieve this season, and to what extent is he being judged on it?
Is there a trigger or an option on either side that extends his deal?
What's his bench mark next season when it's his last season under contract, and we typically don't bring in transfers til late? Isn't that a bit unreasonable, giving him one full season with guys we don't sign til the last minute?

I have lots more questions. I'm very confused with such a short deal.

Im not particularly thrilled either I’m sure a lot of Victory fans are scratching their heads right now too but the club has been headstrong in backing him in for a while now so its no real surprise. Its probably a sign at where the club is at financially.

I have no issues if it was until the end of this season it became a right off as soon as the snake left however how the **** can they justify next year if he continues as poorly as he's started like **** me they had to wait 7 weeks to announce it for a ****ing win!

Carnegie and Didulica are so far out of their depth its not funny club desperately needs a massive overhaul offield before anything will change on

giggler99 I appreciate the change to the title of the thread - but the typo is going to piss me off til you fix it.

It's "Money's Too Tight To Mention"

The first "to" needs a second o.

He took some time to settle but has been really good the last month or so.

The primary story of Diles so far has been mediocre results.

But the secondary story has been Santos. He did nothing under Judas, he didn't really do anything to deserve the start.

Clearly though he's just one of those players who needed an opportunity, and needed a manager to have some belief and optimism in his ability, cos he's been a jet since he's been in the starting team.

(By the way, you're scoring goals too this week mate, thanks for the fix ;) )
