Penn state is better than smu
Bit smu matches up better with us than Penn state

The easiest path based on matchups would be Penn state-notre dame-oregon
Penn St is better the SMU, but Penn St also melts in big games. I think SMU are the better coached team. Yesterday was an anomaly for SMU with the drops and miscues.

Georgia should have been made 4th seed as punishment for injured QB but otherwise like the seeding.
Nah

Precedent was set last year. I guess thats why Georgia havent announced the extent of the injury. Or they were just too busy covering up players arrests or street racing.

Exactly
Hence why I made em first team out

Here is an insane stat. The 2021 Bama recruiting class is the first Alabama group of recruits to not win a national championship since 2005. Also the first Saban class of recruits since he was at Michigan State to not win one since his las recruiting class at LSU won after he left.

top 5 non playoff bowls

1. Iowa St/Miami in the Pop Tarts
2. Georgia Tech/Vandy
3. South Carolina/Illinois
4. Big12 bronze medal match with BYU/Colorado
5. Washington St/Syracuse

Dont expect A&M/USC or Michigan/Alabama to be much because of mass opt outs

What the final BCS rankings would've been

I hope we get a SMU/Boise game and its a game of the century contender.

I just find it strange how lots of talking heads are against Cinderella stories with Boise/SMU even making the field because big names like Alabama are out.

Boise/SMU in a QF and Arizona St/Oregon in the semi for the top half would make me so happy.

And Indiana/Notre Dame in the battle for lil Sabastian [the trophy obviously made by Ron Swanson]

I give us better odds vs Penn State.

I can see Boise State 24-21 Penn State and Boise State 35-49 SMU.

The only two people that don't like it are Finebaum and Greg Sankey. I haven't heard any other talking heads say otherwise.

My dream schedule

Texas def Clemson
Ohio State def Tennessee
Penn State def SMU
Notre Dame def Indiana

Arizona State def Texas
Oregon def Ohio State
Boise State def Penn State
Georgia def Notre Dame

Oregon def Arizona State
Boise State def Georgia

Boise State def Oregon

But lets be real here. Notre Dame isn't winning a playoff game. Winning big games isn't in their DNA (Anymore)

There were a few at ESPN who were hoping SMU fell out. Booger was one of the few who was rooting for SMU.
Joey Galloway was pissed. Joel Klatt didnt want SMU in and a few others ive seen.

I think ESPN told a few to be quiet after the FSU thing last year so Kirk refused to talk on it.

Belichick will be fine in college he doesn't need a Brady. College isn't the happy passing league the nfl is. Can still win titles without a good qb just look at Georgia.
Brady really didn't do much for first 3 super bowls just took care of the ball, his play was just average to good wasn't great and they mainly leaned on the run game, defense and special teams. I imagine that's what he will try to do in college.

College he would run like Saben. run the kids into the ground and they are NFL bound or told to transfer because BB doesnt like them before everyone gets sick of his hard style and the new group is coming in.

and Bill will attract a bunch of boosters and raise NIL money to buy players.
