If (still a very big if) ND get the win, do they change the format with all teams getting byes losing?
They are prob changing it anyway because the SEC and media had a cry over Boise and ASU getting byes.

A move to 16 would fix it with the top 4 not having a 4 week break. But then the dumbest people you know will cry "16th ranked team doesn't deserve to get into the playoffs" yeah well not like 12 was going all the way but it's an even number and if you lose to a team ranked in the teens you were not going to win anyway

They overcooked it with 12 to begin with, but you can't unscramble the egg. So it just creates a rush to 16 teams now.
FCS playoffs are 24 teams. Why are people so against giving more teams a chance. Sure teams outside the top 10 are unlikely to ever make it past the QFs. 4 was never enough 8 would of been unfair with it being about names not that 12 wasn't a shitfight between names and people trying to rip down the have nots just for daring to have a good season and have some crumbs of the CFB money.

Rumor is Notre dame is keen on Ewers. I'd take him over Leonard who can run but cant pass to save his life.
Well rumors are ND are after a "well known" QB with a $6m offer and people saying Ewers should wait another year for the NFL but can't return with Manning.

It's a combo of the 2. Mixed with no other big names in the portal right now. But also since he isnt in the portal nobody can confirm it

I think they need to keep the current format for a few season before changing the seeding or field size.

Let's see a season where there are have quality top ranked conference champs that get the bye to see how it plays out.

I still favour no byes and 16 teams with the top 8 hosting.

I'm for 16 with first and second round on campus. No reseed but conference champs host 1st round even if they are outside top 8. And possibly 2 G5 champs get AQ
