Gonna be flags galore on the Chiefs and the sad part is people will be so gleeful about it and think it's penance when in reality what we actually want is less Ref involvement and to let the players on the field to decide the game and not the bloody refs.

I hope if Josh Allen gets some dubious roughing the passer calls there will be the same outrage as this week with Mahomes.

I just want a great game with great plays, I don't want people complaining the whole game about what should and should not have been a flag. Which is what every Chiefs game this season has been like, I get it, everyone is sick of the Chiefs winning, but the opposition has to be better than them to win, they can't make stupid mistakes.

Unfortunately the statistics and data from a previous page shows what the naked eye sees.
The chiefs are getting a boatload of calls go their way.
They are a formidable side … I think they’ve been vulnerable nearly all season but have only dropped one game.
That itself speaks volumes too

I think it’s more the combination of the following this year that has put some people over the edge:
  • the calls have often been at critical times (3rd or 4th and long in the 4th quarter when the KC offense is struggling and needs to score)
  • any really important lineball decisions seem to go with the chiefs
  • they haven’t been beating teams by 2-3 TDs, so the calls are not in junk time drives they’re in drives that KC need to win or extend games
  • It’s all been coupled with an extraordinary run of good fortune at the end of games (Raiders, Broncos, Ravens, Chargers are all games they could or should have lost - Falcons was another from memory)

Teams have also been incredibly incompetent, Houston last week a case in point. That’s hardly the chiefs fault tbf, they’re largely executing under pressure and others are shitting themselves. Mahomes also acts pretty entitled when it comes to calls, but so do most stars of team sports.

Bottom line is they’re around a 11-6 or 12-5 team that got a great run of luck and got the one seed instead. They should probably have been playing away last week and/or this week. But if they win tomorrow and in a couple of weeks then it’ll be difficult to argue that they ultimately don’t deserve it. Fair play if they do that.

Yeah I agree with all of this. It's why the season has been so frustrating for many fans. It's been comical at times these lucky instances that have seen them win games but at the same time you still have to execute and it's the implied pressure that's making so many team shit their pants in the dying stages so credit should go to them, they've done enough to win most of the time.

For me personally, without Travis Kelce, Mahomes doesn't win 3 Superbowls, if any. I'm super interested to see how he goes once Kelce retires. To me it's why Brady will forever be the goat because he did it over such a long period with so many different personnel and changed teams and still won it all rather than Mahomes who seems to have caught lightning in a bottle with Reid as coach and Kelce as the best receiving Tight End in the history of the game. Can Mahomes replicate this with different personnel and a different coach..... I doubt it

I would like to see them 3 peat honestly because it's never happened and I don't think we will ever see it happen again.

Once Kelce is gone, Burrow Allen and Jackson will all have their opportunity and win one each in the next decade. I have no doubt. This could very well be Kelce's last season and last game on Monday. I'm getting those vibes that his body is done and he's got himself up for this last playoff run.

The media all backing in the Bills just means the Chiefs are more likely to win.

The media aren't really talking about the fact the game is being played in Arrowhead.... The last time KC lost at Arrowhead was Christmas Day 2023, it's one of the loudest places to play at. It's hard to communicate plays if you are the opposition, hence why so many teams make mistakes with timing because no one can hear.

Of course the Bills can win but to win every thing has to go right for them and that rarely happens for opposition teams at Arrowhead.

The Chiefs experience of winning close games and making a big play at the right time is going to be invaluable.

I hope as much as the next person that the Bills can pull it off but I don't understand Bills fans / media confidence in the Bills and Allen, they all keep saying well they are due a win..... Sport doesn't work like that.

Don’t think there is many Bills fans who are confident.

We’ve been here before.
And let down.
Believe it when you see it.

The NFL media I follow every week of the season, majority of those people have tipped the Chiefs to win.

Most reasons are these people tipped them to lose to the Ravens last season in the championship game so it's essentially backing in Mahomes until he loses in the playoffs again.

I heard a good comparison to Manning in 06 where he finally got over the Pats and this Chiefs/Bills rivalry has similar vibes to the Pats v Colts in the early 2000.
