Closer to the truth is he kept them in up to the last three minutes
Did you see Kincaide drop a sitter to end the drive ?
Horrible take
Couldn't rush it across for 2pt conversion x2

Couldn't convert the 4th down in the last quarter

Had to pass to Kincaid on 4th because the first 3 plays were garbage

** ** what a bad result. The Super Bowl is the team no one likes in chiefs vs eagles the team with easily the worst fans in all of sports.
No one gives a shit who wins out of those teams we all lose.
Well I ain’t watching Super Bowl for first time in 30+ years and will likely take a break from nfl till nfl draft combine.
I for one am really looking forward to it.

Philly have been great since November, their D has been phenomenal and Barkley has been lights out.

KC going for a 3peat, how often does that happen? I wasn't keen on them winning until I realised it would usurp anything the Pats achieved and genuinely put Mahomes/Reid in the Brady/Belichick category. If the Chiefs can dethrone the Pats on the all-time list all this will have been worth it. Mahomes and Kelce are flogs and the ref thing is frustrating but Reid seems far more likeable than Belichick.

Win/win for me and I can see it being another entertaining, high scoring Superbowl

True

I think overall he was outstanding though.

He was pretty clutch on a lot of other drives.

If Bills are NFC i reckon Allen would have been in 2 super bowls by now.

But there not so there cursed history continues on.
That's the point though, you can't be good overall or pretty clutch on a lot of other drives. You need to be outstanding when it matters and Allen wasn't.

Yet imbeciles looking for a scapegoat were blaming Allen for failing.
*********
Personally I'm not blaming him for failing. Just saying if you want to beat the best you have to be the best, Allen was very good but to beat the Chiefs he has to be great.

(Sorry for multiple posts stuck in an airport and catching up on the thread)

Crazy that Mahomes worst result in a season since becoming the starter is losing the AFC Championship game in overtime, so he's never lost an AFC championship in regular time and one of those losses in overtime he never got to see the ball as it was before the rules changed. That is honestly mind-blowing.

It's a testament to Andy Reid, Spags, and the GM constructing such a good roster.

I've had some time to cool off and the ref stuff is what it is. Could've gone either way. The offensive play calling cost the Bills way more than the refs. Credit to the Chiefs, they just get it done all the time.

In all fairness, they had a really good roster before Mahomes and weren't doing anything in the post-season with Alex Smith under centre. Mahomes deserves most of the credit IMHO. He's a once in a lifetime player.

Oh for sure, Mahomes is as clinical as there has ever been at QB

You have your take , I couldn’t disagree more.
Poor play calling yes, bizarre officiating yes
But be ****ed if I get on the ‘let’s blame the QB’ everytime a side loses a heartbreaker.
Just for the record if Buffalo went on to win , I wouldn’t have been shitcanning Mahomes either.

JA was very good after a wonky start. Mahomes was better .
JA's major failing against KC isn't him , it's been things around him . Lesser coach, poor decisions, play calling ( see 4th quarter ) or offensive dropping catches.
An OT loss and 2 x 3 point games that could have easily gone the other way against a dynasty team and all time QB.

I would have good $$$ on the last 4 and 5 same pressure same throw but KC on offence, Kelce takes the catch Kincaid drops .
Thats your difference . They know how to get it done , we can't.

So if you're Josh Allen it's time to go to the owners and say hey we need fresh coaches and I need help, I need pro bowl level help around me or alternatively start looking at NFC teams for the next era of his career.

I agree that none of the losses are solely on Allen sure he's contributed slightly to it all but his team has continuously let him down in the biggest moments

Not shit canning, just pointing out there were more than a couple of moments that he could've asserted himself on the game and didn't.

Not sure it's the right call to sack a coach because the team can't get past one of the greatest teams of all time.

No doubt the coaches seat gets very hot if they lose to anyone else but the Chiefs in the next few years.

Seriously it would be a bitch move by Allen to move conference just to avoid playing Mahomes. That's nearly as lame as Lebron James going to Miami or Durant going to the Warriors.

Those decisions will always be a stain on both of their careers.

This happened at the end of last year . We made a lot of roster changes and coaching change and the feel was ( me included ) we would drop back a bit .

He won't leave , but hypothetical if he headed to the NFC everyone would just say he is avoiding KC/Mahomes etc.
I don't think he is wired that way .
Like everyone else we just will need to get better.

Do you feel you guys have an issue attracting big time free agents and high calibre assistant coaches because of the location the team is based in and the conditions you regularly play in?
