What are we hoping to see in this game?

Personally, the last outing against the Cats was a semi glorified match sim. Similarly, I don't think it will be at breakneck intensity

Hope we see Marchbank come in, who I believe is a better defender than Kemp, even though he lacks rebound traits

Williams in for Cowan, as well as Pitto and Kennedy

Leave Martin and Walsh for the Lions

While it's good to see quick straight line ball movement, hope we see more overlap and hitting up shorter options

Lastly, more switches off the line

Delisted after one match simulation? I surely hope not...
I probably could have worded that betterer......do we think moir will once again be chosen to play in the upcoming game against the dees?

Wow 39 degrees on Wednesdayā€¦

Prediction 36 start of game 6.40pm
Prediction 30 still around 9.30pm
Good preparation for the Gabba, it's been a hideously hot and humid QLD. summer.

I would also like to see more switching and 45 angles and cut back plays but Iā€™ve got a feeling we are keeping these cards held as Iā€™ve seen them last year but they where noticeably absent vs Geelong.
We might just play a basic plan vs Melbourne itā€™s easy to kick to a player that manufactures space but some of those plays have a shelf life.
Ed did say the corridor was a focus but I feel we were going for the hardest sharp inboard options rather than manufactured strategic ones.
Every chance Iā€™m reading to much into it but I feel the coaching department have some tricks that wonā€™t be utilized till season proper

Also, punctuation was terrible, sentence starts with a capital.

Youā€™re welcome.

Want to see the team keep working on fast transition from defence to attack - hopefully some personnel changes makes for better execution than what we saw in the Geelong match sim.
Expecting limited minutes for Williams. Kennedy and Marchbank to return?
Circumstances with weather means player management will be more heightened through the next two games before the real season begins against Richmond.

Definitely should provide a positive preparation, training/intra and also playing a few games in this type of heatā€¦

Club might possibly head up a little earlish near the start of the week to acclimatise in the conditions, being our first game it certainly wouldnā€™t hurtā€¦

Maybe the game will be closed up early like the VFL game if its so hot?

Regardless I think it will be similarly less intensity like the cats game but there will be moments they'll try some things out with the throttle pushed down.

I had a 1979 one I remember (junior membership) ...... Those were the days. :thumbsu:
I've still got a few of those myself. 1979 and 1981 well used.

I miss the days pre bar codes, mobile phones and all the rest of this new age crap that can be JUST SO FU-KING frustrating.

We used to get by just fine without it.

And don't get me started on vendors not accepting cash........ (MCG and Docklands, what a joke) o_O

It basically comes down to big brother watching every transaction we make and using that information for marketing, taxation, and a myriad of other things.

KEEP USING CASH GUYS!!!!

Here no cash,no cash here!

Like the optimism, but what makes you think Walsh and Martin are certain for Lions game?

Iā€™m even wondering if Williams plays v Dees

I wouldn't say certain, it will depend how they progress over the next week.

I think Williams will only be considered if he plays against the Demons, even then they may hold him back until the Tigers, latest after the bye
