I miss the days pre bar codes, mobile phones and all the rest of this new age crap that can be JUST SO FU-KING frustrating.

We used to get by just fine without it.

And don't get me started on vendors not accepting cash........ (MCG and Docklands, what a joke)

It basically comes down to big brother watching every transaction we make and using that information for marketing, taxation, and a myriad of other things.

There's about 10 fringe players on the list competing for maybe 5 available positions.
I think we could afford to rest Cripps, Harry, Doc and Gov, and play Kennedy, Cotts, Cunners, Kemp and all the small forwards etc.
Winning isn't important, and we already know how most of the team will perform.

Not to fussed about winning, besides coming through with no injuries I’d like all three lines to collectively show some signs of improvement, some notable areas in which they have trained in the manner they wish to play this upcoming season….
There’s a group of players that have the chance to really push a case for themselves for opening round which a few hold very important roles of need atm, there’s Weitering we need to cover while atm we’re waiting on a few others who are 50/50…

I assume they had to change the time due to the heat. And at that time, they wouldn't be able to accomodate if there were a lot of people that wanted to come and watch it. Also a hassle if they have to get everyone in, out, then back in again a few hours later for the seniors

Can't see Moir playing. Pressure was non existent, had 2 out the back goals and not a lot else. Would rather see Cunners, Fog or Owies to work up the ground.

Cuners is still inconsistent and Kennedy would likely take his spot

Fog is certainly a consideration, but with Martin unlikely, Moir is more like for like

Believe Owies is still returning from calf tightness

Yep, love the idea of Cowan, but he was very pedestrian, last week and is not as ready as the other options. Cinc clearly ahead at this stage. We are going with a new combination with the talls, as well as missing the backline “general” calling the shots. Clearly a 2023 staple is a safer bet.
