Saved for the country riff raff. The Metro kids only play at proper grounds 🤫
Worse still, it looks like a classic grainy low res famous WA stream that not even a 3rd world country would dish up for cricket.

FFS - a streaming platform has one job to do with some care - streaming clearly and producing a good professional product.....but oh no.....not in WA

Been raining a bit in Perth? This is a mess, slipping and fumbling.
Perth gets more rain annually than Melbourne. June, July, August are miserable.

WA not giving effort. No matter the level of talent there is no excuse for half hearted contests. Double handling the ball is a sure sign the team isn't that invested.

Just get the ball to our man Wes Walley for goodness sake.

No folks, that is not an ambulance. That is the Claremont Oval siren.

To play so poorly and only be 6 points behind is a positive.

Got to hand it to Urquhart. That kid does not know when to give in.

Harvey Langford class kicking and clean
Rodrigues another clean player along with Banfield
Travaglia would fit our side so well
Day Wicks having good game

Wa side kicking where the turf is soft just turn it over
Vic country moving the ball through the good area of the ground and dominating

Sure does give 100% but needs to clean up his disposal
Still working on his kicking action after the hip operation had to change his kicking action
So his ball drop is a work in progress WA academy believe it will get a lot better with time

Rohr moves really well for a big man, Banfield is so clean with the ball

Lol
Looks good for WCE next year
Wes Walley and Kobie Smith as NGA options
Then Banfield as Father son

Lalor is very classy

WA getting better as game progresses
Only a little better mate. Not much intensity out there.

Hats off to Curtin, Dennis, MacTaggart (apart from one awful turnover), Hayes, Boxshall, Allan and of course Wesley for making the most of limited opportunities. Malakai doesn't seem interested, which is unlike him.

Out of the capital cities only Adelaide gets meaningfully less rain annually than Melbourne. Canberra and Hobart only get a touch less on average (~20-30mm). Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin have buckets more.

100%......I guess Melbourne's rain must come steadilly all year round. Perth is not a nice place to be in June, July, August....except for ducks...it buckets down nearly every day during those months then it clears up and we get no rain at all for ages.

I guess I'm just trying to find excuses for the poor play. The ground seems super heavy underfoot, and perhaps the ball is a bit slippery?

Langford having another really good game, been a bit wasteful with his disposal though.

Travaglia BOG so far, so much composure and balance in his game. It’s like everyone is playing checkers while he is playing chess.

Jack Ough been really good off a wing linking up between offence and defence. Unique prospect at 194cm and strong running capacity. Ollie Warburton another that’s been really impressive with his ball use.

Stevens has had a few really nice touches two really good inside 50’s that resulted in shots on goal.

For WA, the big boys Urquhart and Allen have been finding the footy but have been wasteful with their disposal. Boxshall looks a player too with some sound decision making. Curtin has had an influence in the back.

The link up play from Hayes and Dennis has been good but overall WA have been wasteful when kicking inside 50.

WA left it until the last quarter to truly try.......then they kicked points. Wasted opportunity. That said, WA performed bett than (me) and most expected and an extra 10 players are on the radar.

Bring on 2025, when WA may not lose a game, such is the squad coming through.

I haven't been able to say that for a while.
