Then half the rostered not locked in to assist with tv , makes it hard to plan trips etc.

It's not for the fans, plus there's other shit to do than sit around waiting for the AFL to release a fixture.

That's a yucky fixture to me, though you can never really know til the following year how hard a team's fixture has actually been, teams change a lot.

How out of all the sides in the top 4 last year we probably got the best double ups. How’s it a bad draw? Less trash time slots too

Pity North isn't a few weeks later.

Ideally you want a couple of games 3-4 weeks out to manage a few, so you're not giving people 2 weekends off before a final.

Hopefully the Bombers are trash late again.

Carlton and Melbourne gifted with the fixture.

Our draw ok by me. But only one home game between 15 March and 4 May (v Port 20 April) is a bit weird. Only 2 afternoon home games to R16.

Annoyed af we're not playing Pies at the SCG or MCG. Imo that game has the best regular season atmosphere.

I'm also in the minority who thinks gather round is shit, the way the AFL has done it.

floating fixtures suck. Just release it in one go. Fine to have the final round as floating or even the last 2 rounds but everything else should be released now.

Melbourne came 12th or whatever and Carlton 8th. Hardly have been gifted off last years performance
