Sorry fixed it. Got confused with 2018 final position. The correct position this was 14thWhich round did Brisbane finish 15th?
Or maybe it was Fagan behind the scenes all along…Congrats to Fagan. I would have picked Scott or Mitchell but Fagan is definitely worthy.
Bit of a nothing award given Clarko never won one.
Fagan wasn't a coach at Hawthorn, so not likely.Or maybe it was Fagan behind the scenes all along…
Not too clever by you there. You see, it’s the AFL coaches that decide the winner.
After a 0-5 start champ. Fagan has never achieved that. Nothing against Fages he's a great bloke and a good coach but clearly Scott and Mitchell coached better this year with inferior lists.Last to 6th vs 14th to GF. Hmmm which is a greater achievement and deserves the higher accolades
FTFYLongmire, C.Scott or Mitchell
Fagan hasn't improved his side…yet (let’s reconvene in Saturday evening).

Voted by the other coaches so pretty hard to argue with the format.

I mean...
it is the coaches themselves who vote for coach of the year....
geech, there is some salt in this thread.

Coaches are clearly anti HawthornI think its more there are salty coaches. Never voted for Clarkson who is the best coach of the modern era.
18 coaches x 6 votes is 114 a round. 25 rounds makes it a total of 2850 votes. So Fagan got just under 10% which would seem about rightThat's a lot of 321 votes, so that means ALL the coaches votes, including assistants?
