Too early again this year. Huge movement as players form drops and others show their talents. Langford could go live pick 1,2 or 3 !!!

People pretending like Levi Ashcroft isnt a 100% clear as day number 1 pick just because he cant be drafted by others is always weird to me

Its not even close. Ashcroft as clear a number 1 as Reid was almost
Has zero flaws. At least some question mark over ever other player ranked top 10 through injury or form.

I personally think he is at the Harley Reid level of clear number 1 picks and impact he will have. AFL fans just have head deeply in the sand. Very common

A big part of the inequality we have is the fact the fans bend over and accept them so easily

I would take Ashcroft pick 1. He’s been excellent to elite at every level.

O’Sullivan and Lalor the unknowns as to whether they go past him over their careers.

Love Jagga but just doesn’t have the hurt factor the others do. Smillie basically got exposed, Trainor injury concerns, Sid will be very good wherever he goes.

In an open draft, taking minimum risk, you’d have to take Ashcroft.

I’m all in on Ashcroft also. My question is- If he is picked at 1, do Brisbane need to use basically all their picks/points to match the bid? Lions Current picks are 27,34,42,43,49,60,66 equals 2531 pts. So they won’t get Marshall, or anyone else until pick 60 ish.

We can go into deficit.

Expectation on our board is that we'll take Ashcroft and Marshall, then redraft one of our delisted players, and push the last of our picks in to the rookie draft, and pick up two our delisted rookies.

Yea wow, thanks for that. So will give up first round 2025 and have already traded out 2nd round to Carlton, so first pick will be 3rd round and they have to allow for Dan Annabel and I’m sure there is others, next year.

Can trade two years in advance from next year, and still carry deficits in to future drafts.
