AA is also losing its meaning. small defenders (who can actually defend) are overlooked for the best unaccountable back flanker with 25+ touches a game and forward flankers are left out for mids not good enough for mid spots. Small forwards get maybe 1 spot to accommodate a 3rd key forward and ALL bench spots are also mids not good enough for mid spots.
Wingmen are rarely recognised too.
Feels like all the guns were scaled up 150%. Guys getting mid/high 20s and we’re never in it!

Midfielders can get 3 votes for a dime a dozen 35 touch game.
Forwards genuinely need 8 goals to get BOG.

Bont has Libba and Treloar taking votes off him. Guys like Dale and Richards can take votes off him too Cripps has Walsh and who else? Curnow?. It's not even close to a reflection of the best player in the league. Cripps is very very good but he's not 26 votes better than Bont. Dogs were much more even across the board bit like us. We had votes spread out a bit too.
I was over the Brownlow Medal years ago, it's farcical. Sounds as if tonight was no exception. The Brownlow is an anachronism.
