Not to be a doom and gloom, but I've had this horrible feeling for weeks that Cripps pips Nick to win it by a vote in the last round. If Daics is within a vote or two before the final 5 rounds then he's in pole position considering his strong end to the season.

The first two games will be interesting, Nick played well but we lost comfortably in both games. If he can get at least one vote in both games then that's a good sign.

I really hope he gets it though, he bloody deserves it. If he continues his current form in the coming years then he should eventually win one, but it'll be nice for him to snag one very early in his career.
Sounds like he is already hungry to get back into finals next year.
Being the guy he is, I reckon falling short f the Brownlow will only make him go harder and take his game to another level.
He deserves it and no doubt will have a couple by the time he hangs up the boots.

Everything's a freaking conspiracy, hey.

I reckon those at AFL House deliberately put in two Collingwood noms because they knew the votes would be split and Reid would be the winner by default. /s

Maybe, just maybe, Daicos' goals were great and, in many eyes, Reid's was just a tad better.

You think it’s a conspiracy theory that Collingwood supporters would be split on voting between two Collingwood nominations while non-Collingwood supporters vote for the non-Collingwood nomination?

Uh…sure mate

Whatever you say

At 40 years old, I’m feeling like a bit of a cougar 😂, but we have some good looking boys at the club.
