I have always felt they should have switched coaches award and the brownlow award. Turn the coaches award into an umpires association award and then uses the coaches votes for the brownlow. The coaches votes is the most fairest and accurate method of allocating votes to players.

I actually selected Cripps to win as there wasn't really any/many players to take votes of him and he has been an umpire favourite.
