I'm not sensitive at all. Why make it personal? If you or anyone else want to convince me that JUH is anything but soft then do so. I invite you to put forward your argument and I will not respond by calling you something derogatory. You're entitled to your opinion.

With all this talk of Richmond possibly drafting a forward such as Cadman, JUH and others in the future, I started watching them more closely, all be it TV. I noticed JUH regularly when under the incoming ball would move to avoid contact. I considered this soft and immediately dismissed him as the wrong type. I do understand he's still young and probably not fully developed but I'm all in for blokes who stand their ground and are aggressive, especially early in their careers. I'll watch more of him next year and you never know, may change my stance. Right now though I still see him as the wrong fit. Cadman projects as the better player.

Don't trade with North for 2, force them to take Tauru there, they literally have no other options to trade down with. If they have to take Tauru there then one of FOS, Smith, Draper or Langford is there at 6, thats assuming we take Lalor first pick. This also assumes that Dees don't take Armstrong at 5 which I wouldn't be surprised if they did because he won't get past Saints at 7/8.

If North take Tauru at 2 its highly likely Smith is still available at our pick 6.

100% I really hope we don't get sucked into the romance of pick 2. Sure, make a play but I really don't want us to lose pick 6 and that's highly unlikely so i hope we give it a wide birth.

We have some really good late gold 1st round picks that a few teams who don't have any picks in the first round would love to get back in. We could use it to our advantage.

Take Futures from teams that want to get back into the 1st round, then take 1st rounds with those future picks from any teams who might need those futures for next years changed rules on F/S & academies.

is an intriguing talent who hasn't always found consistent form this year but has more than enough about him to have clubs interested come the November draft. This was one of his best performances for the season showing his lovely turn of pace, agility to dodge and weave around opponents, strong disposal skills and the moxie to take the game on with attacking and decisive play.

No win/win in that situation. As we don’t need to trade up to two as we are guaranteed a gun at six if they pick Tauru. I’d want ‘overs’ (perhaps a two for six swap coupled with our next years second rounder). Again we get gun either way.

We don't know FOS/Lalor/Smith are the best in the land. The question is 1 player v 2 players. Is one of FOS/Lalor/Smith worth possibly 2 others in the top 20, one of which is Pick 6 and could be one of the players mentioned anyway? 50/50 in my opinion.

Pondering the key forwards.

Goes without saying we need them, but do we really need to take 2 of the top key prospects this draft like some may think? We’re not completely void of them in the list already. The problem is they just aren’t good enough. Could we just select someone like Jonty Faull at 18/20/23/24 and look to select a number one key forward at #1 next year?

I’m not sure whether Armstrong, Shanahan or Jonty end up being #1 key options, maybe best suited to the #2 roles. Could be wrong, just some thoughts.

Agree, i would just take one for now, it's not like we are going to compete for the flag in 2025. We also have a few players on our list already that are only just starting out or haven't had a crack at it. E.G. Bauer, Fawcett
I'd rather we get maximum value from this year's midfield draft then work on the other parts of the list as we go along.

Trainor could be a perfect third-tall intercept defender alongside the likes of Noah Balta and Josh Gibcus.

OK, they’re a little bit different, but both bring great speed, creativity and scoreboard impact in the front half, while also being capable of adding a spark during onball rotations. His older brother Olli was drafted to St Kilda in 2022.

The twins have said that they expect to be separated and are “ready for that”, but it could be a smart move for the Tigers to keep them together in the hope they become bookends for the next 10 or 12 years.

However, if the Tigers keep the selection and there are no shock drifters, they should look at a player like Dattoli. A half-forward who can also impact in the midfield, he is a creative ball user who can change the momentum of games. The Tigers have history of drafting players from the Northern Knights and Dattoli is the best the club has to offer this year.

Last time we waited to get the dregs of tier/group of draftees in the first round we got Ben Lennon.

No point being passive and hoping the supposedly even top group last picked is a gun. Get the one you think has the most upside.

6 & 11 is giving too much, 6 & 18 or nothing.

North are over a barrel, they have pick 2 then 68. They want Tauru then 6 & 18, they can take him at 2, but they wont.

Ether way 1= Lalor/FOS & 6= Langford/Smilie/Smith, we cant lose either way or 1= Lalor & 2= FOS/Smith.

I say keep 1 & 6, if North & Melb take mids & 2 and 5, at Pick 10 we will have better chance to get Tauru/Armstrong/Shanahan.

if not we have better quality mids to choose from 1,6,10. Then grab 1 tall at 11.

The more I think about it and the type of player in the Top 6, we re better off to keep 1 & 6, then we choice with 10&11, needs picks with 18, 23 & 24 (which we could move into next year- not sure why if the crop is better this year)
