AFLW 2024 - Round 6 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
We are hopeful of John Holmes.
Nice oneWould take Jack Ough at 5
Our picks, 28, 40, 49, 54 and 63 are not enough points for Brisbane to match a pick 1 bid.If we are smart enough we would link any trade for Sharp in with there pick 20. For a pack of later picks for the pair.
Since they don’t seem to have much else going on surely it puts us in pole position for it (like Collingwood for pick 13).
Real mumIs that his real mum or just one of them stalker cheer squad women lol
Yikes. Her and Shawn smith can hang out and blame the club for the exceptional kids.Real mum
Shake his hand & thank him for his serviceRead that article and I'm more confident this deal goes through. Not sure how the nuffie fans will handle it though because we stupidly guaranteed we'd keep him.
Hopefully they are not planning on wasting Windsor talents on the wing forever. Some experience off halfback or high half forward doing ANB's old role. Attend some centre bounces as a point of difference. How exciting. Another athlete with shit skills who won't get a game for us anyway with Windsor and Langdon on the wings
Think they've realised fairly quickly he isn't much chop at AFL level.. which I'd just ad surprising because that's exactly the types we recruit during trade period.Big names for a big club. .. surprised we arent all over Deven Robertson given JT wanted him his draft year.
You're acting like this bloke won't be delisted in 2 yearsHopefully they are not planning on wasting Windsor talents on the wing forever. Some experience off halfback or high half forward doing ANB's old role. Attend some centre bounces as a point of difference.
Not allowed to have a 3rd winger? We have a list of 40+. What do you want? One player marked for each position onfield and then 22+ other blokes who are inside mid and defenders as backup? That's what got us into this mess.
We certainly won't be throwing our own picks in.I think Melbourne cannot afford to have a player whose bad behaviour dominates the sporting news each week.
Such a player is not good for membership or the team ethos.
Trade him. Throw in a couple of picks if that's what is takes to get rid of him.
Our picks, 28, 40, 49, 54 and 63 are not enough points for Brisbane to match a pick 1 bid.
The only club that has enough points with later picks is Richmond (who are also into Sharp) and they have the ability not to select Ashcroft at pick 1 saving Brisbane an extra 400ish points. I’d say Richmond are in pole position.
Hopefully Melbourne be creative and try and move up the draft board. If they can get Brisbanes pick 20 who are chasing points for their father sons. Possibly later on us pick 20 and a future 1st to move higher again in this draft.
Melbourne Brisbane trade
Melbourne gets
Pick 20+ Sharp
Melbourne give
28,40,49=1393points

Oliver most certainly is from Shepparton - or at least greater Shep (Mooroopna).
It’s literally 4km away from the Shep town centre, where he played footy and attended high school.
To say Shep isn’t his home time is utter semantics.
I mean the towns website is under the greater Shepparton shire
Mooroopna
Situated just across the causeway from Shepparton, Mooroopna has an identity all of its own. Known as the Fruit Salad City, Mooroopna is nestled amongst orchards familiar to the region.greatershepparton.com.au
