My point is that you're speaking with so much conviction about these players and their comparisons, yet you're basing it all off one 'power rankings' article from an outlet with a very sketchy history of analysing and predicting the draft. It's OK not to know everything about the draft, but when you present things as fact, try and get a more well-rounded view from a variety of places.

They have a lot less top 10 picks and he is listing second rounders for Tigers. I've spotted the difference.

They are in for years of irrelevance imo.

I'm not looking for an apology lol. I'm just making light of the fact that you speak with so much conviction and authority on things, when it appears that the whole foundation of your opinion is one article from some random guy named Jasper Chellappah.

Anyway, I'm derailing the thread now so I'll stop.

From what I have seen they are close to the mark, Lindsay probably more like Ash than Kelly though.

I find the player comparisons to be a bit of a flawed exercise sometimes, and they're often used as rage-bait by draft commentators (see some the melts on here last year when we selected Windsor who was compared by Fox to Justin McInerney, when the rest of the top 10 were all compared to various superstars).

Reckon Lindsay's kicking might be a bit better than Ash's, but that's not a bad comparison (though expect he'll play more midfield over the course of his career than Ash)

Except that they have a bunch of pretty handy seasoned players, established board/coaching group and facilities... Lots of money, big member base and ability to quickly attract FA as soon as they start showing some improvements (ala Hawks now).

Also a bumper draft, might be a rough 1-2 years but could see them rising quickly after that.
