A few months ago we all thought he was in that next tier after our picks. He rose on his combine and a bit of meta thinking from some draft watchers.

I would have liked him but I worried that 3 massive mids would be hard to balance. Plus there isn’t an abundance of midfielders that big, that make it.

There’s more brodies and Constables than Cripps.

Yep, F1 and F2 for an 8 pick slide in the second round. That's realistic.

GWS have the Crows 2nd rounder next year which will be more valuable than their own F2.
GWS were at one point angling to get Shanahan at 18 so for him to still be on the table at 28 along with recruiting Hannaford & Oliver is an attractive prospect.
If not we know Blair will be dangling the carrot to Essendon.

With the compromised draft what will GWS' F1 be at next year? Pick 20 + fairly easily?
