A true masterstroke. We also have front ended our rebuild with talls, which take longer. Just like the hawks dynasty did. Midfielders are a dime a dozen, KPP talent is not. Even if one of these forwards does not make it they can be retooled into defenders. Next years top 6-8 look elite but are mids from early reports.
Absolutely

As we all know there are no guarantees and the road won’t be smooth sailing

But Blair and the rest of the team have done everything they possibly can to set up the foundations to build on properly without taking any shortcuts

Really couldn’t be happier with how it’s all turned out and that’s pretty high praise given we have lost multiple of our best players and coming off a soon and probably looking at a few more

Pick 19 and 27 for potentially a top 5 pick you do it every day of the week. Death ride Nth

You'd imagine North will naturally improve with more games for their young kids but realistically when you look at what they bought in to their club versus others around the mark I don't see how they're going to rise much higher than 15-16th.

Norf- FOS, Whitlock (unlikely to play), Darling, Parker, Konstanty & Daniel

Melb- get Petracca and Oliver back more full time, Langford, Lindsay

Adel- cumming, Neal bullen, peatling, Draper, welsh

West coast- graham, baker, owies, allen, Shanahan, gross

Best case for them is finishing about 10th - that's going from 2 wins to 10 wins and a massive step forward.

Pick 9 for 27 and a future 2nd that once academies/FA are done, will be about 30 next year. Nobody is giving up a top 10 pick for 2 picks after 25 so we can't lose this trade.

Realistically I think it'll look like pick 5 for 27&30 with only Essendon, West Coast, Saints and us likely to be on par or below them.

Forget about points. Would you trade our Future first for 2 second-rounders? Likely Pick 3-5 will get us a star.

Pick 27 (Matt Whitlock) and likely pick 30+ next year is in a weak draft. That could change when players tend to pop up in the U18 champs but currently, it dips after the first 10.

Killer trade by us.
Even just do it for this years draft.

Would you trade Langford (5) for Matt Whitlock (27) and Sims (1st pick R2)

Take Langford every day of the week in that scenario

How many times this year we kick it to the forward line and the ball would quickly rebound out usually ending in an oppo goal.
These new Tiger cubs will stop all that.
watch the cfl stop the reaming next year, they dont want us dominating another draft

will try to have us finish 12-14

whats the knock on armstrong?

is he just a flog to be around like jack higgins ?

looks like jezza cameron

makes sense why he slid

Don’t forget the 2 home games they sold to play Freo and WCE in Perth 🤣

Was wondering why Ellie was there. Funny as.

Grow up, not a terrible initiative at all. Hurts literally nobody except 3AW listeners.

how so ?

they have no place in there apart from having a vagina , the clubs that have a female draft worker already are a different story

its actually disrespectful to women to support a token female being thrown into the draft room to suit laura kanes woke agenda

Ultimately comes down to if Ellie has an interest in being a recruiter that the club was preventing her from exploring without Kane's initiative.

I'd like to think the way we operate they'd be letting her in there if she had an interest and asked.
