How the hell did Grundy not get forward status? They count the VFL for some things, and then don't for others?

Makes no sense at all?

Will be interesting to see how the forward line looks now with Bailey Smith out for the year there isn't much to pick from.

At the top end only Macrae and Flanders interest me. Could start both, or just one.
The mid range (quite a large blanket) you have guys like T.Adams (injury risk), Fisher (HB role ?), Billings (does he play?), T.Powell (is he a permanent mid?), Fyfe (gotta be better than where he's priced).

Then it would be rookies (everyone will probably start Reid). Jai Culley (won't be there R1), Dev Robertsen and Fin Macrae will be watches to see if they are Best 22 and starting midfielders.
 
Thin forward line is kinda getting me randy if I’m honest. Should hopefully mean a lot of different teams out there.

One forward that interests me is Dylan Moore. Not sure on how much improvement he necessarily has in him but with the recruitment of Watson and Ginnivan, I can see him playing higher up. He played that high half forward role end of 22 and had a killer finish to that season. One to think about

I'll probably load up on rookies FWD, but Jackson is still worth picking even if Darcy is back.

Kyle Langford was great at times, could go to another level. Priced similarly to Mitch Owens who will be popular.

Connor McDonald would be nice if he was priced a bit better (70)
As the traders say, not enough meat on the bone.

Liam Ryan will get a reasonable discount.

James Harmes could be another MID/FWD to put on the watchlist. Mid priced and could be the beneficiary of no Bazlenka.

Also people will be forced to pick talls and smalls which will mix things up nicely
 
Really looking at a breakout from Zac Bailey this year likely gets plenty of midfield time

Interesting idea. What makes you think that with Neale, McCluggage, Dunkley, Ashcroft, etc.? Would be an excellent pick if it comes off.

Ashy will miss most of the season Fages likes clug on the wing Bailey addresses the pace we've been missing adding a point of difference he reminds me of Zorko someone who can play midfield and kicks goals the only negative I think Is the round 2 bye
 
Zac Fisher could be next years Ziebell. Mid priced FWD only who’ll play DEF and be a cheapie merchant

Only issue is his price.

I picked Ziebell up last year after two good scores for under $600K, Fisher starts at $640K @ 69.

A def watch for me I don't see him going 80+
