Probably, but I’d call him a risk and Fyfe a lock unless someone gets injured. He looked really really good on the weekend, here’s hoping he’s gotten past those injuries
At the moment I have both with parachutes ready

Feels like I am 2 spots shy of settling my team before pre-season games. 1 Defender and 1 Mid or Forward (leaning Mid)

Sheezel + Billings
NWM + Wardlaw
Coleman + Amon/N.Martin
Bowes + LDU (this could also be Sheezel if I move Yeo into the mids)

For context
(Lazzaro would go on ground/Sharp to the bench)

I am only considering Sexton in Fyfe's spot, wouldn't carry both into R1 (if I need more cash to get Conway or if ZWill isnt there for R1)

Everyone might want to start making plans for Zac Williams (as posted in the Defenders thread):

Zac Williams will also take part in the VFL game for the Blues alongside Matthew Kennedy and Sam Durdin, with the match to be the running defender's first proper hit-out in more than 18 months having suffered a serious knee injury.

I like these the most:
Coleman + Amon/N.Martin
Bowes + LDU

Think you can carry Coleman for that first bye looking at your team plus I think Amon and Martin are both great picks this year

I also like the upside of LDU to become a top 8 guy but his injury record really is a shocker

Certainly leaning towards Coleman if Z.Williams isn't around.

Jordon easily - assuming it’s a keeper draft

Jordan by a smidge if it’s a one and done season. No faith that sexton stays in the team all year
Not keeper. I think I'm with you. I think Sexton has the capacity for higher scores, but job security could be an issue, whereas Jordon will at least be locked in for the wing all year.

I also have Rachele, so there's an option for both and dump him, though I'm also considering swapping Rachele for Rankine as he seems to be ahead in the mid pecking order.

I’m all for swapping Rachele for Rankine. I’m genuinely considering starting Rankine in classic this year.

As for Jordan, if Adams misses time, and Parker/Mills aren’t seen until the bye then surely he gets some serious inside time. Wing/inside time means he could score as good as Sexy and should have way better job security

Rachele's lack of midfield time is a bit of a concern. Had some really low scoring games when playing forward-only last year.

I'm not super keen on Rankine either. Doesn't some like he'll be much of an accumulator even if he plays more midfield time.

I think when a game's on the line, Adelaide is going to revert to giving Laird/Dawson/Crouch heavy minutes in there.

On Rankine, he averaged 74 almost exclusively as a forward last year. Bit if natural improvement and a bump in CBA’s could see him go 10ish better perhaps? That would be a win if it came off the way our forwards are shaping

Yeah you definitely make a good point. Forwards don't really need to have huge numbers to be a success this year.

Would it be crazy to have Rozee, Butters AND Wines? Or should I go Wines down to Hewett?
Yes. Even moreso if you have any Dockers players. At least Wines will be upgraded but if you have any of Houston, Young, Brayshaw, Serong, Darcy (LOL) or Jackson you're probably holding all of those through the byes with Butters and Rozee.
