OOo look at this guy with more than 6 defenders playing.
That damn round 0 score. I had to "upgrade" to English.Gawn 20+ hitouts in the first quarter
So, Gawn just had 23 hitouts in just the 1st quarter.
That's more than English round 1, full game, 21 hitouts.

Round 3 full game 24
Bit better last week, but after having Gawn all pre season and feeling like I had to upgrade to English due to no bye and Gawns rd 0. That hurts.

Oliver just isn't the same player without the lines for as a carrot... Hopefully he finds his mojo to start next year as a mid pricer

Hate that, on edge every week having Yeo for that same fear, early injury.
Plus side, it's a best 18 week, and there's plenty of value around that $650k price.
Jack Lukosius at $610k and a likely move to the backline.
Gawns completely given up on his mids and is just grabbing it and clearing it himself

To be fair most of Melb stunk it up in the first half... Hell Howes was in the top 5 for them
After two crap scores it looked like a case of rookie burnout given he started so well.
With Gold Coast gifting us 2 rookie defenders in Clohesy & Graham to keep the cash gen going, trading Howes doesn't bother me.
1 cash cow off the bench, another in.
I'd have definitely traded him next week anyway.
I did consider holding til next week's bye but rushed trade through being a Thurs game.
