She also brought in Bradley Hill. Wtf? I'm resigned to the fact she's going to mow me down again this season and she's just better at this than me.

This isnt true. Sinclair made a name for himself as a pure half back, in 2022 his breakout year he didnt attend a single CBA in 15 games and only 4 games with over 13% CBAs. Nobody picked him because he played midfield last year, it just worked out that he still scored ok when he went in there. Its only since NWM and Bonner have come on that hes lost his role and points

Didnt know it was raining. But lets not forget he played hawks for that score. He aint getting to that against a quicker smarter midfield. Thats my opinion anyway.

Rogers feels like a guy who wont be in the team for long, and even if he is, he wont score well at all. 172cm and still 18 so probably wont get to play midfield, probably plays as a small forward. Wont be able to go and tackle and compete physically like Graham has done

I know people will say team sheets dont matter but they need class in the middle and he is that. They need someone besides LDU and wardlaw . Lets say hypothetically he was playing in the mids will he score well?

Sheezel could be a mid, if everybody else can see that Sheezel is wasted at half back surely Clarko can see it too. Mckercher might go into Sheezels role while he could be a bit sore in the ribs.
With Hawthorns midfield being so poor I think Sheezel can still score ok in there if thats where he ends up, but I dont think I want to captain him.
There is also a Finn tag potential, I know Daicos and Flanders have scored ok despite copping a little bit of attention, but lets be real those were barely tags at all.

I see it the opposite. The guy is built like a fridge. Stocky and quick. I think he just has to contribute and he has great job security.

Gold Coast have a strong midfield already, and with Graham as their 5th, as well as Humphrey in the team needing mid time, there really isnt room for Rogers in the CBA rotation. With his size and traits, playing as a small forward is likely, especially with Rosas out. Scoring will likely not be there.
This also would leave GC with 3 of their forward line as first year players, doesnt sound very strong, so may not last

Rogers will be a pressure forward like Tom Berry is, JS is pretty good as dimma wants to play kids

Rogers beat our Swallow who kicked 3, Long who kicked 5, Macpherson & Sexton.

Rosas out for 8 weeks, if you decide to pay up he’ll get dpp in the next batch.

Personally if it’s between Rogers and McAuliffe who I’m a big fan of I’ll lean towards Rogers with Eagles Lions North coming up

I dunno, they play the Swans as the SCG, who are decent for general forwards. A lot of small forward types dont score well when they come in though. McAuliffe at least has more of a midfield role
