I think that next year, they should change the emergency rule so that if your starting player plays less than 25% of the game, you can get the emergency's score. A simple change but is common sense.

Or even a “sub” rule to reflect current afl rules. Maybe use the utility as a “sub” and his score can count anywhere on the field if you want it to? Not sure how easy it would be to code and would definitely get used tactically
