Laird 50 percent cbas got me worried. Scored well, but it's a big flag. Even know he starts fwd and pushes to the contest, alot more prone to drop a 90

Good news is they lost so hopefully they change it. 960k for a 50 percent cbas is not on my list

Crouch also had a lot for his TOG. Assuming that is all of them while on field.

Funny, because the coach said an hour before game his forward time was all smoke and mirrors bla bla bla, saying he will be full mid. That's why I got Laird just before the game great score due to the conditions, but a normal fast slowing game, ergh

I only watched bits and pieces but Laird was always around the ball when I had it on. Was annoyed because I didn't pick him due to Crows having so many mids.

Oh he is, pushes up straight away. But due to the high contested scrappy wet game, he could score high. But in normal conditions, he gets so many of his tackles and possies at the CBA. He will still be a 100-110 In the role but I'll go to green round 4.

Round 0 and early byes really screwed fantasy a bit.
Last month of last season I reckon just about every one of us said Flanders fwd will be first picked.
He eventually made his way out of my side to limit early bye players.
Still seems to be in 24% of sides but even that's well under given that exodus of former premo fwds this season.

I have him and am happy, but remains to be seen if that was a good or bad thing.
Need to decide once they’ve had their bye.

I think you're probably right. Easy to want to boot him out to avoid the weeks of lost value, but likely bounces back at home. Just sucks to get a floor game in R1

Not the worst considering my plan of action this year to get a leg up was avoid early bye players. So no daicos, green, whit.

I had to work today, but just came in to say that Fantasy is stressful. I've got McKercher E on the bench and no way to use his score. My projected is around 1700 which is a terrible start. All pre-season I had D'Ambrosio, but changed him out for Budarick yesterday. Can't wait til the round is over so I can trade out Budarick and probably Hewett. Zach Reid will have to wait. Will also have to ride Grundy out til byes maybe, but from watching him play, he is lazy! Wish I could rid of him sooner because all preseason I had Gawn, but due to his low BE, switched to him.

I f-/in hate this god damn stupid time wasting game that offers nothing but disappointing feelings of failure and frustration.

Every round one is the same feeling. Every year one goes against their primary instincts and gut feel intuition and pick players opposite to what you should’ve gone with.

Years ago I was in 12th place in round 6 and felt like superman. Then ended up 8,000th

I chase that feeling like a pokie machine addict believing this is the moment to hit the jackpot.

But of course that will never happen …because fantasy AFL is cruel master of hope that will destroy your footy soul and leave you screaming at the tv like a deranged mental patient at missed tackles ..it’s not even your team playing.
