Has bust written all over it drafting rucks early in the draft unless they are a Max Gawn/Dean Cox type(and they both didn't go early).

Ethan Read the only one of the rucks picked early who could be worth it IMO, has some serious weapons.

Any thoughts on how worth it the trade up was? I guess alternative was trying to get points for next year but not sure that was possible

Very similar situation to 2019 for us, albeit we waited longer to trade up for that pick once Dev Rob was available. Looking at that draft dev was a pretty good pick, not a lot of good players after him. I remember hearing a lot about Rivers that year who arguably would have been a better pick and went way later
