That was a bit of a carnage game like the doggies one from a few years ago when we lost Darcy, Fyfe, Cox (also a hamstring) and Logue was subbed with concussion. we lost that one though.
Yeah first thing that came to mind. Darcy and Fyfe ended up playing the next week though and the outcome was a lot better than expected (minus Cox Hammy). This one looks so much worse.

The injuries suck. The cox hammy is the most concerning as the highest value and most important player of the 3.
I feel Walker can come in for worner and that probably might have happened regardless.
Cox getting repeated serious hammy injuries while on a 6 year deal makes me very nervous though…
OMac - he’s probably a depth player too in reality it’s just losing cox that makes it annoying in the short term not to have him. Crushing for him on a personal level though.

Thank **** Amiss didn’t get injured when that campaigner from the lions pushed him into the post though

We do have a few options available especially if OMac is out for a short time. We could debut Draper or Davies. We could trial Voss as a backman. We could even move Young to the backline and play Brodie if we get desperate. Our b22 is looking very shaky though atm which will impact how well we play.

Worner was a pleasant surprise today, sad for him to be KO'd, no way would he have been dropped after that performance.
Just has me thinking though, of another reason why it is absolute ****-wittery for some teams to have two byes and others one - if Worner is a Brisbane player he isn't missing a game, and they get that opportunity twice a year, not once

As someone said, Chapman will be back in a couple of weeks too

I would guess the cox injury will be a similar timeframe to Eagles ruckman Matt Flynn. Hopefully there won’t be any surgery involved though
Looks to be the same Hamstring he had surgery on a couple years back. Probably need surgery for it again then.

He was a turnover merchant early on. Didn't notice him later on in the game but I swear he played a part in all four of Brisbane's goals in the first quarter.
From memory one was Young giving away a 50 in the centre square and one was Johnson giving away a free for rushing one through outside the protected area, so he could probably feel a little aggrieved copping blame for these ones.

Young 50 he probably didn't play a part in, but I think there was something a couple possessions earlier he did that lead to the Johnson one. Cbb rewatching though.

We have the shortest session (as well as other teams that played their first game today). It's truly fkd our season is a full ten days shorter than some other teams. Not an insignificant disadvantage.

Proof of that is we have back to back 6 day breaks, our Adelaide game is in Good Friday, so the 12 day concussion protocol probably rules Worner out for that game as well.
