2030 his contract expires at Carlton lol
To the eternal regret of Quain Kornes key forwards are going to keep getting long, long extensions.
When the Dogs sign up Darcy long-term which is paying $1.01 to happen as his father is STILL A CLUB DIRECTOR they'll have Naughton signed up to 2032, Jamarra to 2026, and I'd guess Darcy signs until Tassie comes into the comp or his free agency eligibility.
That's the other bit of urgency for us to attract one, gotta get in before Tassie shows up throwing silly money around.
NDaicos?I have no doubt we have a big fish lined up end of next year.
NDaicos?
So his is a possibility for a cash only offer, what do you reckon, $ 1 million a season? more? Supposedly we have $1 million saved off Joe's contract in 2025 but that wouldn't be in 2026 given Starc and Rayner would be upgrades but say Zorko, McCarthy probably Lester are retired. He would be in their top 5 or 3 payees even if they make a big play next years for Warner. He's a free agent
No player will EVER be similar to Joe ......impossibleeeeee.Some similarities to Joe.
If it's cash only, we should get a 10% discount! So his is a possibility for a cash only offer, what do you reckon, $ 1 million a season? more? Sam better start growing a moustache as beautiful as Joey's before we ever consider him our long-term replacementNo player will EVER be similar to Joe ......impossibleeeeee.

Probably the case, yes. I wonder who else is an option and already in Queensland if Day falls through for whatever reason. Casboult is without a contract too I think, and Hugh Dixon kicked 43 for Southport this year and is only 25.I feel that if the club is not looking at anyone other than, or younger than Day, it really makes me feel we have someone on the hook for the end of next year.
We don’t want to get caught with someone who is going to take money out of the cap for a Longer period of time.
If we are trying to tempt a Kreuger or Weideman to leave VIC to come up here for 1 year, we are probably kidding ourselves.
Casboult is probably officially retired, so can't get picked up till mid season at the earliestProbably the case, yes. I wonder who else is an option and already in Queensland if Day falls through for whatever reason. Casboult is without a contract too I think
No current season stats available
Hawks had next to no injuries this year. They were towards the top of the champion data injury ladder. So if that reverts to the average they may struggle.
Quain just has big extension anxietyTo the eternal regret of Quain Kornes key forwards are going to keep getting long, long extensions.

He can’t even get on the ground, let alone kick goals. We will be paying him to assist in the rehab room putting weights away after each session.
Don't quite get the knock on Day when the club had extremely limited resources to facilitate a trade with a name player when none were OOC and you are asking a player (doesn't where that player is located in Australia) to basically uproot their life for likely a one year deal and Day is already based in SEQ.
Day just makes sense, can't believe anyone can't see it any differently.
