Do you count drip coffee as coffee?

Is it from an American roadhouse, then no and I'd rather pour hot lava on my tongue, is it done properly and doesn't taste like someone applied a blowtorch to coffee beans and ran water over them, then yes.

Depends on what your definition of "coffee" is. Order whatever coffee you like but don't try to tell me nescafe is fine. You don't like coffee then, you like caffeine.

Nescafé is definitely not okay. It’s a means to an end, but not a coffee - as you say, it’s a caffeinated instant drink

PS coffee for me is an espresso. When I offer a guest a coffee that’s what they get. That’s what I’ve always got when I visit my parents place and to me that’s what a coffee is. All contextual but in the traditional sense a coffee (caffe) IS an espresso. Whether that be from a machine or a mokapot

In all seriousness acceptance of others and differences is at a bit of a low in our society.
I don't feel the need to go full inclusivity (cue the 'woke' calls), but accepting someone else likes bush chooks and that doesn't make them a bad person, well at least not that bad, shouldn't be too hard.

How does this compare to Kraken?

I am interested to try it.

Never had the Kraken, so can't say.

I had a full glass of this on the rocks, and didn't even realise I'd finished it until there was nothing coming out of the glass anymore (other than the giant block of frozen water). Was really smooth and tasty.

I can nurse most drinks for an hour or so, this was done in a few minutes.

VB was a bit fancy but yeah necked a few flagons of Kyrup back in the day. I got in a sculling game with KS once & the last thing I remember is the lawn attacking me.

I probably wouldn't drink at all if those were the options.

Kind of agree with most that some lagers go okay but a lot of sh** ones tend to be on tap at pubs so you're better off going with something else with the additional rule - if it sounds too sweet it probably is.
