Don't normally rate David King, but he spoke pretty well about Freo on Cruchtime on SEN yesterday. Yes, we are inexperienced, but the gameplan and coaching appears to be so far behind the comp we need an overhaul ASAP.

Hey Freo if you're going to keep releasing a new jumper, then have the courage to use some green and red?
The red and green is saved for our retro round.
I mean, something as innocent as the sleeve outline being red or green - just a wink. Not just reviving old jumpers as a one-off, but using some red/green in these numerous new designs they keep throwing out.
See the indigenous jumpers, they'd be afforded some more versatility if they could use those colours - genuinely don't understand why Freo are so against it.

I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion from that video. The examples they showed were clearly a result of players making the wrong decisions. Clearly players aren't confident in themselves ATM, but even more clear was that they don't trust Wagner with ball in hand which is understandable.
The ground ball gets is part personnel and part structure but mostly personnel imo. Serong does alright, so does Brayshaw normally but we're missing Mundy because no one has filled that void. We desperately need O'Meara, Henry or Brodie to step up and none of them have. Who else we got that's good on the spread in the midfield?

It's always cool to see people have a hot take about the Starlight round year on year. One of the sustained initiatives the club and its supporters can be proud of.

I've always known the best captain for the team going on a strong leadership personality type. I remember studdying it years ago..Serong..and thats it. Just one leader not 3...He's so obvious to me. Mindset leader for the team is paramount. Hayden would be awesome. And the coach does not need a super regimented personality. He's not that flexible and that lacks confidence.. I feel theres a disconnect with players and the coach. He should listen with their suggestions..They need to get together.. The assistant coach originally from Eagles is so perfect when he coaches. Starts with D.. Even job share sometimes at first. The current captain just needs to needs to focus on his game and he lifts. Also Eramus needs to talk about handling pressure. Especially as he's now seen as a future star and it's all happening so fast. Also use Michael Walters to help lead in forward. He's got alot of knowledge. A few tweaks and changes and they will have a winning streak.

Has Bell or Garlick been interviewed this week? How long before they start getting questioned about if JLO's job is safe?
Not for a long while yet hopefully. Things are bad enough as it is without that going on as well.
Might get something after we get smashed by Brisbane just to put the idea out there. Expect it to ramp up when we then go 1-4 at best over the 5 following weeks including a few more smashings.
