I think he generally looks for the negatives with us. He found it impossible to be positive about us when we were flying against expectations last year. I enjoyed his analysis earlier this year because we were going poorly and he's very good at pointing out our deficiencies. It's harder to cop when we're having a good time and all he can do is find reasons to pull us down.
Nope. I thought he was fair, and I think his eyes were opened re our overall performance last year. Go and watch his match review with Whateley after we knocked off Geelong at Geelong (and Melbourne at the G for that matter).

You really should.

I tend to agree with another poster that he’s become a bit Healy “esk” generally speaking, like he can see what we could/can absolutely be down the road, but shares a lot of our frustrations, and maybe that comes out at times. But it’s no different to our hot aired “Vent thread”, sack em all one week and sing their praises the next bla bla bla. Wot Eva.

I go looking for his perspective, he says it how it is, and his insight I really appreciate and respect.

King makes a call on Freo and then waits months and months even a year before his take actually becomes correct and then he throws around the “I told you so” even though he was objectively wrong at the time he first said it
i dont watch a lot of him but i often see him playing 20 seconds of footage of a game and then extrapolating that to support whatever point hes making, always seems a shallow analysis from him imo

I will say this about robbo he may ben an idiot but at least he knows it and admits he flaws and accepts who he is.

Wheatley is a self righteous know it all a-hole. Whose ego has gotten bigger and thinks his moral stance is above everyone else.

Exactly why - despite his flaws - I find it so much easier to accept and respect Robbo in a sea full of average and often below average footy journos who are often too proud to put their hand up and admit they were wrong or made a bad call

RTB has a management style that some players absolutely thrive on - while others would not - he obviously had his favourites, first impressions were definitely lasting for him and players had to work damn hard to change his perception of them. Nowadays, coaches need to be relationship managers as much as motivators and be able to adapt their approach depending on who they are dealing with individually and collectively.

Good. It's a blessing in disguise. We don't have to worry about shitting the bed in front of the whole nation, and we can quietly go about our ascent and then ambush the unsuspecting fans of oppo' clubs.

We have been shoved into the left over timeslots again. Saturday first game and Sunday arvo for almost all games.
Yep, don't know how anyone can look at that and think we weren't punished for our performance

Have to admit I'm surprised about the sat night derby, why did they pick this year for it though, weird
