AFL.com 10 best moments from Sir Doug Nicholls Round. The most storied club regards Indigenous representation, has not one single moment.

*Could've picked the fact we've had at least one Indigenous player in the side since 1995, something like 685 straight games.

*Or Banners immense slap forward resulting in a goal for Indigenous champion Michael Walters.

*Or Indigenous champion Michael Walters scoring 3 goals at home in a turn-around victory against last year's Premiers, in Sir Doug Nicholls round.

See, not hard AFL. Almost as if you don't give a ****.

It's 28 years with an Indigenous player on the field not this week end coming but next, next weekend.

I think we are in so deep with that though that to raise it as a point of celebration will shift the spotlight to the other clubs by way of example... and some of them are really, really poor.

This author (see below) selects Michael Walters as our best ever indigenous player. Could make a case for MJ here - 245 games, All Australian, RU B&F. Perhaps even Dale Kickett (Doig Medal winner) or Roger

In the nine things we learnt article, they said our game was on Saturday night. I was in the sun until the final siren, so I don't know where they thought it was played where it's sunny at night #VICBIAS

Matthew Stokes is Geelong’s best indigenous player, geezus Christ on a bike, he ain’t in the same playing arena as G. Farmer.

Insulting and incompetent article.

You do realise the article title says "in the AFL era" don't you?

It's Walters by the length of the Ascot straight IMO.

Dale Kickett for soul, but it'd be between Johnson and Walters overall, and that's actually a tough one..

He's a pretty clear cut winner IMO. Johnson has played more games but not had the same impact as Son Son.
