Yep I rang and cancelled my auto renewal. Given my lack of faith in the competency of all aspects of the club currently I also emailed as an extra safeguard and received a email response the auto renewal was cancelled. So I wasn’t expecting an sms today advising $380 is being processed from my account next week….

Exact same thing happened to me but I called them to cancel just to make sure they're aware of my dissatisfaction

I wouldn't mind being ruthless on Boak if we were a ruthless club. But we're not. We're the Care Bears. To brutally cut someone who has been an absolute warrior for us and is still a best 22 player while none of the decision makers are held accountable, again, is disgraceful.

He certainly wasn't a transformational leader for club culture in the vein of a Hodge. And we weren't ruthless on him after all, so the best friends club can stay entirely intact apart from the loss of Nathan Bassett

Yeah, Boak tends to duck criticism because he’s such an immaculate professional and hard worker.

But his attitude is more in keeping with that of a professional runner or triathlete, for whom a PB is roughly as good as a gold medal, rather than that of a pro footballer for whom genuine opportunities to win the ultimate as a team are limited — and you should be furious if teammates/coaches/list managers keep letting you down.
