So I live in Sydney, so need Kayo to watch the games.

I normally just activate it for the season and shut it down during summer. But last year got a deal through Telstra.

Kayo has just put up subscriptions to $35 a month - which is pushing the friendship….

Does anyone know if the $250 digital membership can be added to my interstate membership? Even though I have paid already.

This doesn't answer your question directly but this was posted on the soccer board TV rights thread about what clubs charge for digital memberships, about 3 weeks ago.

Ring the club and they might let you switch packages and see if they will let you pay the difference. They wont object to you paying another $250 for another membership.

Do these count as AFL-audited memberships?

This is for Power on Demand + Interstate Membership package that Buget would qualify for

The above link was for a Power on Demand + Interstate Membership ( there is one for Vic based members that costs a bit more as you get access to 5 games a year)

This link is for the $250 package in the graphic I linked for all clubs and it has the same things attached except for games Port play in your state. So you can be anywhere in Oz and buy it, as there is no guarantee Port will play in your state / territory.

Got an email from the club saying as a member, I have access to buying extra tickets for AO in a pre sale window next week.

Its not for the big blockbuster games, as that will obviously have the name 2 or 3 week before the game window but its for;
Rd 1 WCE
Rd 3 Melb
Rd 6 St Kilda that's the Friday night game, next day after ANZAC day
Rd 10 Hawks

Purchase additional tickets for a game this season during our Exclusive Member Pre-sale. Access premium seats at Members price before they go on-sale to the General Public.

Exclusive Member Pre-sale
Monday 12 February, 10am - Sunday 18 February, 5pm (ACDT).

Interesting. Ticket sales not going as well by the looks of it. How very surprising and left field 🙄

I'm sure memberships would be closer to 60000 by now if we had a new coach, and I'd be one of them.

Of note unless cancelled the T&C's state that after 12 months Kayo will auto renew at standard pricing of $35 for basic package.

Ok thanks for clearing that up.

I was wondering when renewing a membership, the discounted Kayo subscription would still apply.
Probably best to sign up a week before the start of the regular season then:thumbsu:

Just went and checked it out and the giants digital membership is now $250. Kayo has no value for me out of the footy season. So 7months * 35 = $245. It's cheaper to just go direct.

Actually you don't need the 7th month, as finals are FTA.

There is absolutely no ******* way on earth that's legit. The member base (and non member base) is clearly ******* pissed off.
A friend and I were counting the number of members we know who are not renewing this year. Out of fourteen, ten have jacked it in. ALL have been long term members from early AFL days and a couple from many years before that I’m most shocked about. These are not the sort of members a well-run club should lose.
