That's it in a nutshell.If they wanted to be fair they could allocate all those good pink seats from row M back that are on the wing then they wouldn’t piss off existing seat holders - but they have refused to do this despite acknowledging the issues.
The smart - and fair - way to do this is to recognise, before you send out stupid comms as if you're offering a different brand of oat milk than usual, rather than a different membership is to find the best possible seats for all of these members first, allocate and pre offer them noting the change but that you've been given the best available seats before anyone has even had a chance to notice the difference. This is not how you manage change and certainly not with your best paying customers.
