and a future 2nd
Not against taking a mid at 2 in the scenario that the picks offered are not what we are looking for, then we get one of the guns and get one of the top key forwards, with our future first or second, Harry will be long gone but there are a few really good ones still available, then we pounce. With Stevo and TT gone, really hope we hold pick 2 and take Lalor, Langford or FOS. Need more mids that can kick goals.
We can trade for talls down the track and pick a couple of project talls.
If we draft Alix that won't even come into consideration, its about what he is going to be in the future, not four or five months time. The fact that he is being heavily talked about as a high first round selection tells me recruiters know everything about him, they would have a dossier on him and our other targets about so many things its not funny, nothing is left for chance these days.Aerially he’s great. But it’s not a great tape for him in regards to decision making or skill execution. A lot of improvement required in that area. If he couldn’t compete in the air I’m not sure he’d even be drafted on that vision.
They’re to sharp for usView attachment 2154064
I thought BigFooty had some nuffies but Twitter is absolutely next level.
Imagine thinking the same pick is worth more just because Richmond have it.
The sad thing is that despite it being laughable, we have to admit that over the last 5 years, our power in trades has been pretty terrible.View attachment 2154064

A little different to one of his earlier posts....
The champs final was the highest quality under 18s game I've seen. Armstrong had a great game and stood up when it counted. Agree on Gerreyn, mongrel, talent, size and athleticism off the charts. Really hoping we find a pick in his range.Due to our club being absolute minnows the last decade, you can say the only thing our club had been able to enjoy is the draft. This year, even before trading our picks away, I just dont see it.
Watched endless amounts of highlights, watched the State teams.. yes the metro v country game was phenomenal viewing but it wasn’t because of ability. It was scrappy and down a level from previous years.
Clubs want multiple picks because they’re likely to miss. North rumours is they are searching for talls.. I reckon the talls were incredibly underwhelming, hence why I have Gerreyn so high as a Kpf.
Im no expert draft watcher, I probably have no idea, but it just doesn’t scream out of elite talent everywhere.
FWIW, I wouldn’t be giving up our F1st because if we finish dead last and miss out on Sharp i’ll be fuming.

For anyone trying to gauge what the yoyo looks like in usual numbers, that's a 960 which is very goodSid Draper's testing pre season 2023 (bottom ager):
