Thing is, I don't think healthy Hurts is going to be why we win/lose the game.

The Eagles D is amongst the best in the NFL and their offense should have broken the all-time rush yards record this season but they rested for the playoffs.

If Saquon was injured, then yes I'd be more confident.
Hurts being injured doesn't really move my needle much in either direction.

Your defence held Saquon fine after Hurts left last time. A fit Hurts is part of the reason the running game works.

I'm shitting bricks.

I'm thinking all the way back to week 1, and how much less stressful it was when we just took the opposition QB out early, cos he was literally their only chance of competing.

Not that I necessarily want Daniels taken out... it's just a similar feeling of thinking it's one really talented young guy or bust for our opponent. But that young guy scares the shit out of me.

Funny thing is, posturing aside that's part of the reason I don't really feel all that much pressure about this one.

If Daniels is generationally good like Washington fans think he is, then he might just tear you up no matter what you do. And so be it.

If he ends up being that guy, not great news for us in the long term, but also in historical context that will end up being the narrative here. No one looks back against teams Mahomes beat now and thinks there was shame in losing. I've got confidence we'll continue to be around the mark: all our key pieces are under contract, we've got one of the youngest defences in the league and yet one of the best, and with our eighth championship game since 2000 (only the Patriots have more) there's good reason to think we'll be back whilst Lurie's got the reigns.

Its easier to deal with that because we've seen us at the mountain top, and close to getting back multiple times in recent memory.

And if Daniels isn't that guy, then we'll beat them well.

Felt a lot more pressure in 2022 NFC champs game by comparison, when we had felt like a special team all year and the idea that we were imposters would have been difficult to stomach.

Most of the season people thought the Lions winning the NFC was a fait accompli, it has never really felt like ours to lose.

Yeah that's heaps good for your starting center.

Chances of botched snap turn overs increased, and you'd think impacts the shove.
Early report/rumor was he was out. But hes been warming up pregame, moving well, declared active....caveat...may not start, may start
