An in-season move to a team with an injured starter would make more sense for the Bears
Would create too much of a shit show in the QB room, not to mention the fan base. Team Caleb and Team Fields. Big no for me.

Makes zero sense wanting to be Hurts backup vs Wilsons.

Not sure about that. Hurts has missed games / time.

If you were wanting to rebuild yourself / create a market for your free agency having a game or two with the weapons in the Eagles offence is a decent platform.

Arguably better O talent (and certainly better D talent) in Philly than in Pitt. So if he gets a chance to play, especially with his skill set, Pitt probably does better in Philly than in Pitt.

Plus, what I've always said, why tf did Pitt ever think he could play as Pitt in Pitt, instead of just being Mr Pitt somewhere else without the added baggage?

Seriously, I actually think it is more of a complete falling out with Tomlin than anything else, if reports are true about how Kenny was first promised he would get a chance to compete for QB1, and then after the signing was told Russ is QB1 (apparently because Russ insisted on QB1 status in his contract) then I totally get how Kenny would not have any trust in the Steelers coaches or front office.
