Did DGB do the beep test?Butler, Croc, Frenchy, Finn, Newk amongst the crew who just finished before Weddle put on a show and ran out the entire test.
Bennetts, BMac, Seamus, Wardy and Ramma also impressed.
Worps, Sic, Moorey, Dimma and Scrim ran 200’s then came and supported the others.
Sully, CJ and Mass did separate running drills. As did Lewis.
No current season stats available
Jai finishing the beep test in that group (alongside Finn and ahead of Ward) is very impressive.Butler, Croc, Frenchy, Finn, Newk amongst the crew who just finished before Weddle put on a show and ran out the entire test.

Weddle just took the beep test out, completed the entire thing.
He did it, but along with Blanck and Tucker didn’t trouble the pointy end of the test. Tucker really struggled and needed Simpson to come in by his side and push him along with encouragement, until he was completely spent.Did DGB do the beep test?
He's the one who really needs to impress this pre season. Show us why he was a top pick.

Nobody at the club has ever done that. How many in the AFL have I wonder?
cannot be overstated how crazy this is… ridiculous level of fitness and speed needed for thisWeddle just took the beep test out, completed the entire thing.
17 is considered to be elite.
Anything above 19 is truly the elite of the elite.
21 is almost unheard of. There's urban legends that Beckham and Giggs have completed 21 but nothing verified.
I remember hearing Crawford beat the beep test. No idea if true thoughI'd not heard of anyone in the AFL. I've read that about those two, but like you say, never confirmed by anyone.
It is insane.

Yes, he did, I and others including TheFourPillars witnessed it.So Weddle definitely did complete it? You witnessed it SYL? Amazing. How did his team mates react?

Thanks. Wow.Yes, he did, I and others including TheFourPillars witnessed it.
Everyone player out on the park was watching on as he did so. Then they all got around him and gave a pat/rub on the head/back.
3 minutes later, after a slow lap of the square they were all doing skills again.
Can confirm that the skills post beep test were pretty ordinary, with fatigue taking hold.I'm surprised with Weddle's performance, but I'm equally surprised that we're doing the beep test. It seems like ages since that was considered a decent test at the highest level of sport.
Honestly never understood why it came out of vogue, considering the ability to push at a high intensity while exhausted is very important for AFL players.
I put the % likelihood of Weddle completing the actual beep test at 0%.
I am sure he completed whatever audio we had though.
