The Lions did important draft-points-relevant business on Friday, filing official trades with Richmond and then Carlton. By offloading Pick 20 to the Tigers — for picks 32, 42, 43 and 45 across the second and third rounds — Brisbane accumulated 792 points to aid its acquisitions of father-son Levi Ashcroft and academy product Sam Marshall in November. Further, the Lions sent Pick 73 and a future second-rounder to the Blues for Picks 34 and 66. Looking forward, the premier’s main query remains how it replaces Joe Daniher.
