Not necessarily. 3 draft picks would be our first, our Battle compo, and Adelaide's second. We might then take say Peckett or Cole in the ND, but you'd say we'll take 3 minimum plus those guys

Fantastic news for Stocker. I saw On The Couch this week point out every game T.Stewart has been tagged this year, Geelong have lost. Stock’s job in the second half was bloody instrumental in our turnaround. Very useful type to have and I’m glad we have him for a while longer!

Imagine wrapping up the year with all mids with pace or beast gone from the draft and paying a F1 and pick 25 for Shiel and a fresh 1.2M contract. What dreams are made of.

Between beaches and Melbourne Airport I know where I'd want to be
stay well away from this guy , just wants a retirement package and produce nothing - has to be better options around , even Crouch has produced the goods on a constant basis , his only blemish is this season.

Except isn't he on the same amount of money either way, stay or go? If he really just wanted the $ he'd stay at Essendon and not bother finding a way to any other club like Jared Polec did at Norf
His post-match interview over the weekend was pretty convincing in that he wanted to keep playing AFL footy in a better environment
Only problem is he signed one of those stupid long contracts - contracted till 2029

Wouldn't say Crouch is a certainty to be delisted, as he has triggered a 1 year extension on his contract.

Lets not forget Sheil started at GWS, so he probably has a relationship with Steele as well as SOS & Gubby. His trade would be Essendon clearing salary cap so wont cost.
We have been discussing the need for a senior body to help Steele all year. Crouch seems done & Ross probably playing VFL. getting Shiel just costing salary for a couple of years while our kids develop makes sense. Lets hope the club have other irons in the fire also.
