So the Trump campaign outsourced their ground game to Elon Musk. Who hired a canvassing company that has just been pretending to do their job (marking that they’ve visited houses when they haven’t, spoofing their GPS locations etc). Now other republicans are begging them to take another approach as they see their re-election campaigns slipping away from them.
It’s all well and good to hide away on podcasts instead of going to real interviews, in an effort to capture new voters, but you have to make sure your existing supporters are gonna drag themselves out to the polls as well.

Here is the full quote:

In 2020 Trump was outcast, bar Rudy Giuliani. This time around he has the world's wealthiest man, Wall St's most successful figure, a plethora of Silicon Valley VCs, RFK-swilling Podbros and binary-thinking influencers desperate for him to win.
I'll almost be relieved in a way if Trump wins. The virtuous resilience will crumble and the beautiful nihilism will wash over me.
