The debate is going to be meaningless - they are all just soundbyte farms for each side to use against one another. The attention span of the swinging voter is shorter and shorter (and each side is rusted on in their support). This is but a spectacle rather than substance.

Let's just say that it will be less civilised and policy focussed than the iconic JFK v Nixon debates of the 1960s. But what it lacks in depth will be made up for in nasty rhetoric.

Will be the first US Presidential debate that will drag in the MAFS crowd.

Trump is going to stand there spewing lies, attacking everyone. If all she does is focus on policy, even if 100% correct and accurate she'll lose. This is about understanding who you are going against and being prepared.

She needs to put him in his box. I'm not a trump fan at all, but that line to Biden ended him. It's this sort of thing.


I'm not advocating getting up there and saying he's a clown with orange skin, simply calling out and highlighting that what he is saying is lies, incoherent and doesn't make sense.

He lost the popular vote by 7m last time, and that was before J6 and everything else. Surely he is going to lose votes.

I think if I was having to debate Trump I would start each exchange with counting the number of lies he spewed each time he spoke & refuting them methodically.

I would also try to provoke him with using the word lose or loser as many times as possible & laugh at him.

Try to reveal as much of the hateful demon inside him as possible.

Don’t think there’s much point in trying to have a meaningful discussion.
