The debate is going to be meaningless - they are all just soundbyte farms for each side to use against one another. The attention span of the swinging voter is shorter and shorter (and each side is rusted on in their support). This is but a spectacle rather than substance.

The Trump campaign team reached out to the families to set up a photo op and campaign ad. Several families acquiesced in the mistaken belief that Trump’s intention was to honour the fallen service members.

The aim was to use the third anniversary of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan to try to pin the chaotic pullout, and subsequent deaths, on his political rival for the White House - VP Kamala Harris.

Charges were not pursued as the woman feared further retribution from Trump and his supporters.

I would like to know who the “larger aide” to Trump’s name is, the aide who pushed a female employee of Arlington National Cemetery out of Trump’s way. ID that SOB. Steven Cheung is another little SOB. They are nothing more than Trump’s Brown Shirts and Cheung is a lying Goebbels fascist propagandist. Trump himself is the most dispicable figure in American politics and makes Joseph McCarthy and Richard Nixon less odious.

Doing media interviews is a core requirement of governing. Its how politicians answer to the people through the media ( who are supposed to a pillar of democracy by asking tough questions).

Trump has literally done hundreds. Alone. Even with H Clinton, no-one questioned that she could do an interview, alone. So Harris does ONE interview, and the people are now supposed to do what? Give her a participation ribbon? Is the bar that low for the Democrats leader and aspiring Presidential. (Rhetorical question-we all know that it is)

This might be hard for you to comprehend.

She's been thrown into the role of running for President, she's had to select a VP, run a convention, all in a matter of weeks.

She's now done the traditional nominated President and VP interview. She'll no doubt do more.

She did the interview on CNN, a middle of the road news org.

Can you point me to Trumps interviews? where they were? With Elon Musk? Dr Phil, some muppet on Youtube? His mates at fox? Oh, he did the black journalists association, that went so badly his staff pulled him off stage halfway through.
