This might be a useful cop out, if he wasn't also on record responding harshly to specific things Trump directly said, proposed or did, outside of any alleged media framing.

It's almost as if it's a convenient trope to avoid MAGA getting angry with him.

Spineless coward who abandoned his principles to get into the Senate.

Fools the gullible I guess.

And even if this were true, the potential VP is someone who may just believe whatever his current chosen media sources tell him. That's comforting...

Indeed it does fool the gullible. You only have to read the past couple of pages of this thread for ample proof of that.

This is something in your imagination. You are projecting. Maybe RFK is endorsing Trump because he prefers his policies.

In any case, I strongly doubt anyone of magnitude would follow RFK that closely that he/she would switch their vote based on an endorsement. Would be a zero sum. For every 20 people that vote Trmp based on this there would be another 20 who don’t.
Lol.

Trump policies have nothing to do with it. Even earlier this year RFK called Trump a ****wit.

Fact is RFK pimped himself out to both sides, and Trump was the only one to take the bait promising RFK a role in his administration if he won. Trump thought his endorsement would get his followers to vote for him pumping his vote up by a few percent.

And finally, notwithstanding the beatdown by Vance, Mollie makes by far the most pertinent observation of the night:

And for those still bleating about election result denial:

Did they attempt to overturn a presidential election with lies about voting fraud in court and the media, concoct fake elector schemes, pressure state election officers and the VP to just give them the win, and badger the acting Attorney General and his deputy to send dishonest letters to the states claiming election fraud?

No? Pathetic.

It works both ways. Harris and Biden always play the man and not the policy. They just do it in a more amenable way. Trump does it in his own brash manner.

The sooner the old guard of Trump, Biden, Harris, Pelosi etc are gone the better.

Waltz and Vance give hope for the future.
What dystopian image of the future do you have that involves Vance?

Jesus Christ. It wasn't a beat down. Vance looked more confident yes, probably from history of debate teams etc, and he is firm on what he says. But he offered little on policy, spread some of the same already debunked BS (can't back down now, you'd look weak), and stumbled at the end on some key questions, by refusing to answer, or trying to spin a lie. You guys have super low standards if you're that impressed and think it was a beat down. Was an even debate and no clear winner.

There is an art to not committing oneself to a position, until you have gained the agreement of stakeholders - it is a common courtesy not to volunteer on behalf of someone else,
and prudent to wait until one is fully ‘across the brief’. As leaders we appreciate this.

However the blatant lies and bullshit that these people are willing to undertake, so as not to get on Donald’s ‘bad side’ is appalling. This is not ‘white lies’ for a good cause. Feeding the voracious appetite of a narcissist is not for the greater good.
