Can they actually just change the nomination to be Harris or do they vote on it?
Technically they're not 'changing' anything - Biden wasn't officially the nominee until formalised at the convention.

I assume they'll just wrangle it out at the convention, legally speaking, while still getting the result the power brokers want.

I know he won 2016, but that was more hubris on the Dems part than anything, and picking a terribly unpopular candidate.
Unpopular indeed, but not as unpopular as the current favourite to be candidate. Harris dropped out of the 2020 candidacy after getting steam rolled in the debates by Gabbard (of all people) and polling at a whopping 3%.

She still may well win, but like Biden in 2020 it'll be down to the anti-Trump vote rather than due to any real passion for Biden/Harris IMO.

He was quite clearly praying if you watch the video. Laughable how easily you were hoaxed by misinformation
"Eyes closed during prayer time."

Donny's never prayed in his life :D

I wonder if the Anti Trump vote affects basically the six swing states.
EG California is blue and Florida is red nothing will change there.

It’s quite clear she isn’t well liked.

Democrats would be best going with excellent debater who could pin Trump.

This really sums up the problem of people getting their world view from outrage-bait twitter accounts and other short form (mis)information. Society would be far less divided if people did a little digging before mashing the "share" button on every tweet / meme / soundbyte that backs up their biases!

How do you think Kid Rock and Kurt Jantz will feel when Beyonce and Taylor Swift drop their diss tracks?

Probably comes down to two things. Will the white working class vote for a smart (black) woman. And as always, getting the vote out.
Well 30% of the congress are women.
Whilst it’s not the magical 50%, it still represents a lot of citizens voting women into office.
And off course, they’ve already voted an African-American into the White House.
So it’s entirely possible.

Republican Senators - eight female, and one African American (Tim Scott)
