Cooked is cooked, bring him on as a sub, will kill it.

If he needs to get miles into his legs I think we'd be better off starting him on the ground and subbing him out at 3/4 time when he runs out of puff.
Either way, get him in.

I think he should be back pocket at AFL level. We only really have Jimmy on the list as a lockdown small defender (and perhaps O'Connell). If Ronnie can develop into a reliable replacement/successor to Jimmy then he adds more value to the team IMO.
Not a chance he got taken back twice late and gave up two goals. He has no overhead game at all, Jimmy does and so did Ben Paton. Paton despite what you read on here was tracking well, a good height, in the top ten at the draft combine over 20 and in leap.

I think burns will be a 24- 28 player who will drift out over time. I’ve got nothing against the kid and will be happy to be proven wrong but he’s not a goal kicker, lacks distance on his kicks and is weak overhead. He’s a running machine with with plenty of courage but no obvious position, prefer others.

If they're looking for a midfield option I hope they pick Carroll before Trav and Boxshall.

Trav and Box will get their chances but Carroll was the better performance at VFL level

Let’s move on and play the kids who are our future. Unless Carroll is head and shoulders above them which he’s clearly not then just no.

Throwing it out thier, does anyone know how to get cheaper good seats at Marvel Stadium for the AFL as a currently a non team, Medallion or MCC member?

Usually watch in front on the TV with a cold one, but looking into going to Saints/Tigers Saturday.

Would like level 1 or 2, my eyes are not good enough for level 3! Was pretty surprised that seating starts at $75 without any discounts or deals.

There is usually cheap deals for tickets a few days before the game but they are generally for general admission on lvl3.

Interesting talk on the couch tonight on fox. Talked about fwd lines needing 3 big guys, two flashy types and two hard workers who keep the flashy types in check.

For mine that is
King, sharmen, owens
Higgins & collard
Butler & hall (or henry)

We do rely on our smalls to push up and back.

I’d classify Higgins as the hard worker and Butler as the flashy type. Higgins is fairly reliable in his effort.
Butler is the one who will try and do some Harlem globetrotters type stuff and is far more inconsistent - as flashy types tend to be.

Who said that I can’t see it in the article?

Channel 7 news. Footage of trainers massaging him with his leg raised and a nervous Ross Lyon looking on. Was trying to stretch it out and looking bothered.

Joffa didnt mention it in his training report? Must have happened very late in the session or it;s being exaggerated

It looked like quite a bit of footage but news is very good at making a story out of nothing.

Just said King had a hamstring issue at training today. Was getting worked on. FFS his career is so frustrating so far.
Over the last couple of seasons we've played better without him so TBH I'm extremely ambivalent about his return date and would rather see Keels get some more games into him ATM.

I'd still rather him in than out but you aren't wrong.
